Matt began working in construction more than 20 years ago. After 6 years of enlisted service in the U.S. Coast Guard, after which he earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. Matt worked as an equipment and process designer for the automotive manufacturing industry, where he supervised numerous multimillion-dollar projects. Matt enjoyed the challenges of designing and building from concept to completion. After his family’s house was destroyed in a tornado, he was drawn to rebuilding and renewing homes, thus rekindling his passion for residential construction

Matt was raised in Tennessee and moved to Nicaragua in high school, where he learned to speak Spanish, the language that is invaluable to the work he now does in the construction industry. He is married with three children. During his free time he enjoys running, rock climbing, exercising, and spending time with his family. Tim has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Tennessee Chattanooga and completed courses towards a Master of Business Administration.
